This reaction shows zinc chloride being created from Zinc (s) and HCl (aq) or hydrochloric acid. Notice that the chlorine atoms have a negative charge at the end of the video, because ZnCl2 is an ionic compound. Also, notice that there are water molecules because it is an aqueous solution, and that hydrogen rises as bubbles.
