Jennifer Blattman, Jennifer Johnston, and Jen Woltemade all were super generous, so I was able to thank them all with a song by someone I hadn't heard of before this. My friend Alex Gross went above and beyond in his generosity, so I had to go above and beyond to thank him. So enlisted Ana Miura, who's a friend, a singer-songwriter, and a founder of the cancer fundraiser Babes For Breasts, to record a song to thank him. And we found a song called "Alex" by Montreal artist Emilie Mover.

My friend Lindsay Bell generously donated to my campaign for the Ride to Conquer Cancer. AND she even suggested a song that had her name in it for me to record. So I did.
She suggested "And a Bang on the Ear" by the Waterboys, and she was right. It's a great song, and her name is the first word in the lyrics! I was happy to record it as a thank you for her generosity.

A lot of names get mentioned in a lot of songs. But when Chamika made a donation, I was in for a bit of a challenge. So thanks to my Facebook friends, I was able to come up with what I think was an acceptable alternative. Here's "Chamika Chamika," with hopes that Dylan, Leadbelly, and the folk world won't be too angry with me playing around with "Corrina Corrina." My second video, a cover of the old Irish tune "Finnegan's Wake", recorded for Tim Brown and Tim Norman, both generous donors to my Ride to Conquer Cancer drive.
"Finnegan's Wake" is from the 1850s, and is probably best known as recorded by the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Make and by The Dubliners.
