Im curious what the Bleeks reaction will be to Beeks new injury, especially with the timing of both him and Terron being injured in similar ways.

The last time they saw Beek and Terron together was when Terron was adamant about learning what was in the forbidden forest, with Beek saying that its just dangerous like wolves, bears, etc.

He even got the Bleeks involved in spying on Terron to make sure she didnt go into the forest.

Then a few days later they're both covered in brutal gash marks on their face.

I imagine the Bleeks would make up some theory that Terron was attacked in the woods by some animal, and the ✨️brave ✨️heroic Dr Beek✨️ rescued her and was injured himself 😭in trying to protect her😍✨️

Which couldnt be further from the truth but nobody is going to correct them

The entire bluebelly spider library scene is a masterclass in pure comedy gold i cannot properly capture it in words. Whenever im having a bad day i read this scene as a little pick me up.

HOWEVER outside the genious comedy, and incressingly compromising positions these 2 arachnophobes find themselves in, there is a blink and you miss it moment thats actually very sweet.

At this point in the series these 2 DO NOT like each other at all. They have only interacted twice and both times ended with yelling insults at the other. At the beginning of this scene Terron straight up refused to help him because shes also terrified of bugs and was content in watching him suffer, he had to bribe her with something she wanted to get her help.

So now this moment, and the roles have been reverse and the spider is now on Terron, and in her fear she begs him not to let it go down her shirt. Beek didnt have to help her here, the bug is off of him and he doesnt like this person, he couldve ditched her. But he not only attempts to squish the bug (which fails) but he was also mindful of her fear, even in the pure and utter chaos of this moment, he placed his hand to cover the opening of her shirt to prevent the spider from going down it.

And while Terron is definitely having her own personal "Oh" moment here being suddenly pinned by an attractive man with his hand on her chest, i think it wasnt what she was expecting from Beek. She was literally having a bit of a trauma flashback of how shes normally treated. And this guy that Does Not TM like her, whos ALSO scared of bugs (which is why theyre in this stupid situation in the first place) still tried to help her. Definitely a new experience for her.

And then the comedy continues, it is a blink and you miss it moment, but i love that its included.

We dont get a lot of Beek and Marons scenes, which makes sense given how his curse affects most women. But i love that theyre able to have a normal conversation and it's about Terron.

But the telling part is that BEEK is the one that initiates the conversation about Terron. Weve seen him bulldose through conversations with women he wanted to end short, or when treating a patient, ignoring all conversation topics other than his own medical questions. Here hes literally treating a small paper cut injury he didnt HAVE to strike up a conversation with Maron.

But nope HE starts a conversation with her by commenting that the sisters dont look much alike, which implies its something hes paid attention to, when he usually goes out of his way to avoid all the women at sablehouse.

Then of course that last line, while we know he thinks Terron is beautiful (the iconic "Damn" scene), he didnt have to say he disagrees with the idea that Terron is unattractive, he could have just side stepped the question altogether, but he not only answers her and sets the record straight on what she was assuming of him, but he almost seems offended at the suggestion of thinking Terron is anything but beautiful.

Idk its an interesting scene that sandwhiched in between Maron fangirling over Beek (not her fault). But it makes me curious about future scenes now that Maron knows Beek has a huge crush on her sister

Beek is being such a cocky lil shit acting like he didnt just do THE EXACT SAME SHIT like 30 seconds prior when he first laid eyes on Terron like???? Bro?

Everyone makes fun of Terron for being super dense (and she is!) But Beek was just as bad at the beginning of the series like?? Idiots!

Girl is thinking about his cute butt (that she also smacked) and where he touched her (by accident). Like its been at least a week(?) Of Bo prepping her on this job interview, and shes STILL catching herself thinking about it.

This happening after she was embaressed at him dressing her wounds in an intimate area, and then shes was sniffing his blankets and thinking how good he smells, she hears him go outside (to go to the bathroom) and she describes him as pretty again. Like girl!!!

By comparison she only calls Isak pretty boy in one seen and its under the assumption hes Marons type. Afterwards she uses pretty boy purely as an insult towards him.

Terron has shared on more than one occasion that she likes scars on people and thinks it makes them look cool. Meanwhile im over here like, boy do i have some good news about the dude who has a huge crush on you girl.
