When I rains a lot, the river behind or building gets some odd visitors. This time it was a trio of ducks. I always find it weird that various waterfowl show up, because our river is a sort of "not river". It doesn't exist most of the time because it doesn't seem to have an actual source and needs a constant supply of rainwater. BUT it has a very well defined river bed and is listed as "Sinking River" on maps. With not fish or anything that live in it, I guess the visiting loons, cranes, and ducks just us it as a layover spot when they fly past here.
