romeo is races younger brother

my theory on this is because of that one singular bit in Carrying the banned where Romeo is standing with Race, Jack and Crutchie

why is romeo there? what is the significance of his presence? Out of all 10 newsies, why Romeo?

let me propose:

Romeo is race’s younger brother

their names both start with R

Romeo mentioned the Sheepshead Races in KONY

everyone treats him as a baby and Race probably started it (but also could be, im taking this from OBC, Andy richardson is the youngest in the cast)

“it takes an orphan with a stutter”, Race squishes Romeo’s mouth because brotherly love

i bet Race was like, c’mere and watch Jack be a doofus dancing like that

Somedays i really hate my older brother.

I was talking to my grandma, cuz she hadn’t seen me in about 9 months. And eventually my aunt comes pick her up (my aunt also hasnt seen me in 9 months). So she says what any aunt would say “wow, you have gotten big in these few months”. And i was like “yeah” cuz i am a bit taller and i know i put on a bit of weigth.

Then my older brother thats thinner than a sheet of paper says “ha ha, she means that you’ve gotten fat”. And my dad to try and make things better says (refering to me) “hes not fat, hes just a bit chunby”. I sometimes do hate my fokin brother, specially cuz my weigth is one of my biggest insecurities (partially becuz of him).
