The moment you meet her, Ruth is larger than life. She explodes on the scene. I adore that the writers did not leave her as a flighty, clueless character. I love that they gave her depth and are including her in more episodes. I’m just terrified that something will happen to her, because she is so lovable.🥺 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The wedding episode is one of my favourite Murdoch episodes ever! 😂 The capers are classic Hollywood. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Murphy captures the character so well, that I was shocked to see how different she can be in another role 😶; as an episode character on my other favourite Canadian show, “Heartland”. I also stumbled upon her when my dad was watching “Merry Happy Whatever” on Netflix. However, as I grew up in proximity of a great actress (Branka Katić), I should know better. Isn’t it fascinating how great actors can wear such different skins?
