Since Kykks hit 80 and i have no screenshots of him yet have a whole drabble
While Sylvari were generally frowned upon by most, mordrem minions seemed to be alright in the eyes of many. While he was not a fan of the harsh sun and sands he could not deny that there was much to learn out in the silverwastes. Which is why he hired two very bright, very naive plants to get one for him. he knew being in the priory would help him in some aspect eventually...he just didn’t expect a small, orange plant such a Gaelrich to reside there. He was knowledgeable beyond his days about the mordrem and often spent his time there or in Orr, thinking up devastating ways to bring down the Risen. Gaelrich, of course, did not seem too happy to bring back a mordrem minion but Tylliand, a young sapling, but older than Gael seemed all too happy to lend herself to the cause.
Now if only they would shut up. It was worse enough he had Sippsi as his apprentice. how he ended up in a room full of idiots never ceased to amaze him. but as always, they made themselves useful while he stared down at the dissected petal of what used to be a mordrem hound’s mane. His claws tapped on the metal of the table before he reached out, a holographic screen showing itself. He didnt other to stare at it, knowing the diagram he had made of the minion had progressed far more than his diagrams of sylvari from his days in the inquest. Still, the creature was no less interesting and all too similar to Sylvari in general. He gave a long glance to the small orange engineer with his big black eyes fixated on his flamethrower, tweaking it quietly. Tylliand did not stay behind to watch Kykks as Gael did. She knew Gaelrich from passing in the Silverwastes too many a time, but her place was with the Vigil. Her life was constantly keeping the minions at bay in the Maguuma Wastes. The Asura could not be happier, really, her Reef Drake was too large to keep in his lab and her spider, while she claimed it to be friendly, gave him the chills.
Sippsi apparently sensed his thoughts and made their way over to Kykks with some notes. “So, like, I found these flowers--some call them daylilys...Iunno if they’d, like, be similar to those hounds but, like, they sure look a lot like them.” Quieter they added. “...Maybe...like...mordrem can tell us more about sylvari?” While Sippsi was a half-wit when it came to biologic chemistry, they knew enough about nursing sylvari back to health what they looked like inside. Unfortunately. Kykks knew the smaller Asura was giving the disected mordrem a long glance behind those dumb round sunglasses of theirs. Snatching the notes away and into his own hands, Kykks sighed and gave them a quick look. “We shall see. Gaelrich--deepest apologies. I know you’re aquiring some...well earned time to re-calibrate your flamethrower or whatever it is you do with it, but I’ll need another mordrem.”
Gaelrich looked up from his work and blinked, his large, wide eyes giving away nothing for a time before he sighed and looked away. “I guess I could do that. The wastes have been calling me to her more now than ever...” He said quietly, earning a small, confused look from Sippsi. The cabbage was, to say the least, strange in his ways...but Kykks was not about to give up the opportunity to have someone do his work for him. “Good. Oh, and, I know this is hard for you, but please, try not to incinerate it. I’d prefer my mordrem rare instead of well done.”
