a concept: roman as a tortoiseshell maine coon
alright can i just
I was (kind of) on Deceit's side the entire video.
Weddings are a very important day to people, that's a given, but it's not your day, it's their's. Yes, Thomas loves his friends, in both real life and in the Sanders Sides series, but how far should he take that? This is literally a huge opportunity we're talking about here, and if Mary Lee and Lee (is that the correct spelling?) cared about Thomas then I'm pretty sure they would be devastated to learn that he prioritized them over the callback. (I mean, I definitely know I would.)
He definitely doesn't have to go if he doesn't want to, and if his friends force him to go to their day without considering his feelings, just because they want him there...
"And yet, we're prioritizing the wedding over the callback, and therefore, their wants over ours." - Deceit (24:42)
I mean, Thomas himself literally said that he just planned to play on his phone during the wedding cause he didn't want to be reminded of being single and that he wanted to go to the callback (34:43), so what is the harm of going to the callback if it made him happier? If his friends are understanding friends then I'm sure they would have completely understood why. Please note, I mean that they'd understand why he couldn't go, not that they wouldn't be hurt. Of course they'd be hurt, BUT:
"SO, I would be devastated, but you know what? She's her own person, and she has her own life; I can't take that from her. Her being at the wedding is for me, and if I forced her to be there when she didn't want to go, then I would be the selfish one." - Roman (25:52)
Now, this is where I disagree with the whole "lie about where you're going so you have an excuse to not go to the wedding" thing. He doesn't HAVE to lie, I think that Thomas could just tell Mary Lee and Lee the full truth about where he's going on that day. I'm pretty sure every single one of his friends (in the series and in real life) know how much he loves acting, and if I were the one getting married and he honestly explained the situation and his thoughts about going to the wedding, I really wouldn't blame him if he wanted to go to the callback instead of the wedding.
OR, alternatively:
Is the wedding and the callback even at the same time? I mean, sure, it's the same day, but what about the time??
If it is, maybe he could attend part of the wedding, congratulate the couple, and then go to the callback, or vice versa. If it's not, if Thomas wanted to, he could attend both.

hi okay just a random thought but
we've all heard of patton baking cookies for the other sides to eat, but what about the others?
someone give me logan baking, making sure all the ingredients are all Precise and nothing strays from the recipe
give me virgil baking as a stress relief, because stirring the batter is hard work and virgil is more than happy to take out his stress on the dough before he snaps at any of the other sides
give me roman, who has the most amazing time baking, always experimenting and trying to make the Best™️ chocolate chip cookies
give me patton, who watches from the sidelines, making sure the others dont get hurt because hes had to stop roman from burning his hand from grabbing the tray without his gloves before, who takes lots of pictures of logan because oh goodness, his concentrating face is just so adorable, who softly pats virgil on the back after the cookies are placed in the oven, more often than not listening to virgil rant out his stress
but, most important of all, give me deceit who steals all the cookies they make--
OH MY GOD WAIT ITS ROMANS BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROMAN YOU ADORABLE LIL SHIT HEAD I LOVE YOU
hey so ive been thinking a lot
yknow, i always get so stumped by those "what is it that your partner did that made you fall in love with them?" questions that my friends ask me. almost nothing comes to mind except an image of them; smiling, or crying, or teasing, or concentrating ridiculously hard on something, honestly any kind of image. i dont think of any attribute or reason or something thatll make my love for them seem "valid" or "appealing" to my peers, its just...them. of course, to everyone who does ramble on and on about their partners: you all are still very much so valid and absolutely adorable, i just... dont do that. i mean i can, but i generally dont. and literally do not start shit antis just because i said i dont generally do that doesnt mean that i dont want to do it or refuse to. id gladly shower my partner with praise everyday if thats what they prefer.
point is i love the person themself, not the things they do that make them a person. but of course, whatever little quirk they do is still surely going to be endearing to me and the fact that they are doing it is what makes it lovable. it isnt going to be the base of my love, it just adds reasons to love them even more than before, you get me?
anyways happy pride month i really want a qpp that i can cuddle and kiss and show off in the pride march
