also @ that body positivity post op, a lot of the positivity about lack of exercise and healthy eating is aimed at disabled/mentally ill folks who can't exercise or eat healthy and such, reminding them that they and their body is still loveable even if they aren't the healthiest as living up to societies standards isn't always possible and that's ok. don't deny disabled folks their body positivity just bc u think they should be 'healthier'. leave other ppls health + bodies alone, its not ur biz!

(dare) Post the oldest selfie on your camera roll.the thing that really sticks out atm is the tuesday of this week, at my school we buy food on a swipe card system (so you put money onto your card and then you just buy stuff that way) and i have run up quite a big debt because although i bring a packed lunch so i never put money on my card i sometimes get really hungry randomly or i forget to pack a water bottle so i have to go to the canteen, so im currently like £7 in debt
and normally the canteen staff are just like “yeah, u need to top up your card” but let you buy stuff anyway, but this tuesday i had literally forgotten to bring any lunch and i was ill so i Really Needed To Eat and i got to the till and the dinner lady was like “no im sorry, i cant let you buy that”
and i was trying to explain that i was ill and i didn’t have any food and please could i just buy this veggie samosa and banana and the dinner lady was like “no, i can keep this for you and you can go and give some money to the finance office and come back and ill give you the food” and i was like “i literally do not have any money with me except my bus money that i need to get home??” and basically it was quite a scene and i was almost crying and holding up the queue and everything
and at this point one of the assistant heads of the school, who hasnt really spoken to me since like year 9 because she only teaches subjects i dont take but was quite fond of me when i was a nerdy lil year 7, comes up and is like “alix, have you run out of money” and i was like “[voice cracking] yea h,,,”
and she just swiped her own card to pay for the food for me and was like “pay me back when you can” and left
so yeah tl;dr a teacher bought me food when i was ill and couldnt afford to buy anything
