There’s no other word for it, not really. Tethys pops up out of seemingly nowhere, and Ewan’s quick to bristle, halfheartedly swiping at her hands as she pinches at his cheeks. “Siiiiis, come oooonnnnnnn, it’s not like that.”

A pause. A reflective stare skyward. Then a sheepish grin, and he waves a hand preemptively, hoping to discourage any further pinching.

“Okay, maybe it’s a little like that, but can you blame me? She’s gorgeous. Like, everyone here is just gorgeous... How’s a guy s’posed ta focus?” His laughter is full of mirth, crimson eyes aglow with amusement at his own expense. He’s only half joking, in truth.

Gently nudging Tethys with an elbow, he smirks. “How ‘bout you sis? See anythin’ ya like out there?” Then, a frown. “... Anyone’s boots I need to be filling with frogs?”
