Learning to Love the Pictures
Psst @luckynature I think you’ll like this one ;) (cough Juno mention cough)
Sarah Marie hates how she looks. She knows she is pretty. However, this has been the source of her torment for years. She refuses to looks in the mirror. She won’t let anyone take her picture. Except for three people.
Noel can take her picture. In fact, his Christmas gift to her was a black and white photo album of them through the years. Their sibling adventure put on the page so she wouldn’t forget that yes, he does see her as his sister. Even if he absolutely hates showing it. The album book is called “Sibling Adventures”
Mischa can take her photo. It’s hard not to love just photos when he insists she’s the best part of them because of her smile. He can get her to smile a real smile, one where her face is scrunched from laughing. They look more like her then anyone else’s photos. Plus. His smile when he asks for a picture with her is too cute to say no too :)
Juno is allowed to take her picture. Her best friend is the one person she trusts not to take a picture and not comment on her face. The one person she would even pose for. Juno is the one who helps Sarah Marie get over her hatred of photos the most. Juno, her best friend, is the most important person in this part of Sarah Marie’s healing from the past. Her best friends smile is the best part to her though.
