A little something among the MANY other things @alainaprana and I have been working on. So here’s some worldview lore for you all~<3 (the comic will resume this saturday as well!!!)
Within the universe of worldview, gods are presents in a non metaphorical way, people are well aware of their existence, twelve in totals which all look over specific planes. Here’s the first trio, the goddesses in charge of the physical plane. They’re sisters who look over the balance of nature, mother Nature (in the middle) and her sisters Sea and Sky.
I hope you like it, it was VERY FUN to work on~<3

InspARTation
I was given a magnet for Christmas one year of Edwin Blashfield’s Spring Scattering Stars. The result was Sister Sky. All of my Native American pieces were inspired by my mother. By Edwin Blashfield Sister Sky – Available (oil/paper) – $350 Happy Holidays. Maggie~

Rock to be again in hands of Nature...
Abalone Woman bracelets (more variations at link), Sister Sky (Spokane)
Abalone woman was a young woman who lived on the ocean coast and shined the most beautiful colors. A man from the North saw her beautiful colors and traveled to find her. They met and fell in love. He treated her lovingly. Later, he began to treat her with disrespect. One day on the beach, he hurt her deeply. Tears began falling down her cheeks. As her tears touched the water, the water began to turn her beautiful colors into shells and she transformed. The young woman transformed into the abalone shells. She became our beautiful abalone shell, a reminder that women are sacred, honored and beautiful.
10% of the proceeds from these bracelets go towards the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center, which works to end violence against Native women.
