Sister Cathleen Harris (played so beautifully by Margaret Qualley) represents one of the many postulants who works desperately to achieve Novitiate, thus becoming a Nun which would strengthen her ever so powerful love for God, as this is no mere “Boy meets girl.” love story, but one of “Girl meets God.” ☺️💝 Everyone of the Roses 🌹struggle everyday, some trying so hard to understand why can’t they sense God’s presence and why he doesn’t hear their cries, while others wish to be held, comforted, and loved in return by Him, their beloved, darling Husband. 👰⛪ There are no words to describe the utter beauty of Maggie Betts’ #Novitiate except to say God bless both she and EVERY SINGLE Women who worked hard on this gem of a film, on and off-screen! 😃 As a believer in God, and as a man deeply in-love with Him, to find peace, solace, and sacrifice oneself for an entity we can neither see, hear nor touch, but one we can feel deep from within, is a feeling unlike any other 😌 Some seek greater purpose, some seek guidance, while others simply seek to be loved. ❤️ #Novitiate #SistersOfFaith #Nuns #BridesOfChrist #LoveForGod #BeautyInBelieving #LoveAndBeLoved #Devotion
