Know as blue eyed grass (Sisyrinchium rosette) also called Bermudian rosette. This “grass” is a member of the the iris family. It grows from a corm and is native of South America (southern Brazil to Argentina) The plant has naturalised almost all over the world and this year is doing very well in the back lawn, which wasn’t mown much over winter.
