Oh, geez. I’m bad at this kind of thing. I mean, Geno, would have to center it? Obviously, because Geno. And then…??? IDK, I think we still have plenty of time to make something special with Kessel, and if we’ve got Geno barging up the middle, Kessel hanging back as a sniper, and Perron still scrounging near the boards and doing the dirty work in front of the net, that seems pretty darn close to me.

5. what players would be in your ideal d-pair?

This is easy. Olli and Letang, when they’re both fully healthy and up to speed. Olli was almost there when he got injured; IDK if we’re going to see top-flight Letang for a while yet. Or ever again, tbh - it’s possible that last concussion was the killer.

But that’s what I’d like, in my ideal world.

Also, Las, I’m sorry if you asked this question hoping for Bruins. /o\ Obviously my Bruins answer for #4 would be Bergeron/Marchand/some third wheel dude.
