“Long enough to know you aren’t here to enjoy the view,” she frowned, blatantly looking him over. He was physically imposing, but it was more than that. There was an aura she could only describe as darkness surrounding him. She hadn’t met many people like him before. Generally she got a sense of whether someone was dangerous or not, but this was on a different level.
He intrigued her and she didn’t feel that aura of malice turned toward her at that moment. Or maybe she was imagining the whole thing.
“What do you want?” Straight to the point. She got the impression he wasn’t the sort to waste his time with flowery speech. Her eyes swept over him for the second time before meeting his gaze again, curiosity reflected in her gaze.
