If you've been on Tumblr for a while you've probably come across a ton of masterlists for art resources. I certainly have, and that's why (for some reason) I've decided to add to the pile.

Most of these sites have either been mentioned by other people across many platforms or recommended to me by professors during my years of college. As of right now I've compiled almost 150 websites that don't only focus on resources for illustrators and character designers, but also aspire to help graphic designers and other types of visual creatives. I've divided the list in the following categories:

Do keep in mind that this list is not meant to be a holy bible of resources; all these sites have helped me personally during my career and it's entirely plausible that you might find some of them to be entirely useless for your craft, or that your favorite resource of all time is missing from the list. I just wanted to share what me and my friends have been using for years, and if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me so that I can add them!

seeing people like and reblog my art and then follow me after so many years in the instagram algorithm hell warms my heart like wtf..... three people looked at my stuff and liked it that's enough for me

revisiting all of the depeche stuff i've drawn over the years (aka the dump i posted yesterday) has made me realize it's been way too long since the last time i painted leather (be it traditionally or digitally) and i think i should change that

Last book: Narciss and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse, I could feel my my brain chemistry changing as I read it..... I actually received a physical copy of it only a few weeks ago! Right now I'm reading Las Moradas by Saint Theresa of Ávila, but it'll probably take me a while to finish it (16th century Spanish is no joke)

Last series watched: The Sandman, but I gotta admit I'm actually really enjoying watching The Pitt with my friends

Last film: Like Minds, peak evil gays cinema (technically my most recent would be The Evil Dead, but I'm not really counting it bc I didn't finish it, slashers aren't really my thing when it comes to horror)

Last song: I'm listening to Batwings: A Limnal Hymn by Coil right now!

Sweet or salty: Depends on the day, really

Coffee or tea: Tea 100%!!! I used to hate it when I was younger but it's grown on me over the years now. I don't really enjoy the aftertaste of coffee and the caffeine gives me palpitations 💀

Working on: Commissions, OC stuff, reading more, making zines.... when I find it in me, honestly. It's becoming harder for me to stay motivated and creative but alas, I persevere
