Sivakunda Waterfall is situated in Amsoi of the Morigaon District of Assam. The Distance from the Sivakunda Waterfall to Morigaon main town is about 23 km. This waterfall is known for it's natural beauty and it is a picnic place also. There is also a bridge on the drop from where it is possible to observe the enchanting water path. Sivakunda Waterfall was discovered by a drama director name Mr. Golok Deka. When he was looking for firewood near Amsoi's current weekly market. He was followed by a few Sahari village youths. Suddenly he listens to a deer in the jungle roaring. He was thinking what was happening to the deer. So, he attempted lonely to follow the deer's roaring. He entered the deep ahead in the jungle, for the first time he saw the lovely waterfall. Which waterfall is currently known as SivaKunda Waterfall.
