Housemate #1 is going down to Portland for a night this week and he asked me to feed/walk his pup while he was gone. I, of course, agreed. Tonight he told me that our neighbors would be by to feed and let out the dog tomorrow, so I only had to do it Wednesday. Why? It’s like since he can’t be here, he wants someone else to come by and bother me. I told him that it would be happy to do dog duty both days since I’ll be home and not working. I don’t understand the logic of not asking me to cover both days. It’s a dog, he’s not that much trouble. I’d much prefer being responsible for him another day than have the neighbors coming into my house on a rare day that housemate #1 is gone to relieve me of dog care duties one day.
