Some natives had locs. Some natives had lighter or darker skin tones or hair. Turtle Island is massive and had hundreds of different tribes, each with their own customs and culture.

We have Atotarho in the Haudenosaunee stories. His name means "Tangled" and his hair was said to be like snakes. These Haudenosaunee gentlemen above also have hair like snakes.

Remember that natives existed from the top of North America to the bottom of South America. We can be any color, size, or shape of beautiful 🌈❤️🖤🤍💛
