what do you think are the odds of the six international tour coming to latin american countries? is it possible or should i stop begging them to come to brazil? lol
I'm giving it a solid 50/50. The UK/international tour format is not the most common one but it appears semi often in UK based tours. And years ago those tours did come to latam to do Mexico, Brazil and/or Argentina and sometimes others. Hasn't happened in a while saddly and Mexico is now getting US tours.
But the six UKT operates in a very weird way. UK tours going international usually work in one of two ways. First is they do a regular UK tour and then switch to international going around Europe and Asia. Second is UK based tour that goes to mainland Europe or Asia, does a few months touring cities in the same general area or country, goes back to the UK for a while and repeat.
Six doesnt. They kinda did it a few times with Amsterdam and Rotterdam in one go and then Berlin, Munich, Zurich. But after that it became super random. Trieste without any other stops in Italy, go all the way to Manila only to return to Holand and back again for Singapore, only doing Barcelona again with no more stops in spain. Most of those being only two weeks and one in some cases. Calling the schedule hectic is an understatement. They depend on local producers wanting to bring in the tour to their theaters but still. I would expect something like 2-3 months in northern Europe, back to the UK, a month or two in Italy doing a few different cities, UK, More mainland Europe, Spain and France maybe even Portugal, UK, then a solid six months doing SEA probably with the Japan run in the middle and end in China, go back to UK, and continue. Longer blocks in smaller areas, not bouncing all around the planet.
In that case a latam run wouldn't be impossible. Even if producers usually act like the world in world tour stands for Europe, Asia and Australia only and we don't exist. Six is a smaller show thats not the hardest thing to tour so we could get lucky. Something like after a Western Europe city jump the set to Mexico, do Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara, from here maybe do a stop in Colombia and then go do a few cities in Brazil, then Argentina, maybe Chile and from there go to SEA (or the other way around).
But the Six tour doesn't make sense so don't be surprised if they randomly announce a city in Brazil with nothing else in here. Also earlier this week the producer that brings US tours to Mexico said he will soon announce the next four tours and I have reasons to believe six is one of them, so that would take us out of the world tour possibilities.
Like seriously I do give it 50/50 odds because there is a precedent and because the tour stops make zero sense.
