chaptain and I are friends. We’re going to El Dorado together soon. 

askavengers does what it says on the tin. The Avengers are pretty domestic. Nicole is pretty rad.

sixcubed rarely gets on or posts anymore, but Ms Jess is the perfect mother to run to with your problems. Alex is a cute kid, too. We don’t talk about Tony. 

greatmoustachesploosh thinks good thoughts about comics. 

I follow and love a ton of other great blogs, too! This is just the list I came up with at this moment. Every time I post one of these, it changes.

Be that asshole. This list obviously changes up from time to time, but right now it is

sixcubed because Jess is the best teacher ever, Alex is adorable (he’s six), and Tony’s not always a turd. Basically, they’re the toughest family you’ll ever meet. They’re not on very often, but when they are, the world is rainbows.

askavengers because you get to ask the Avengers shit. What more incentive could you possibly need to follow them?

kivrinengle is pretty well the Hobbit fandom team mom. She’s a brilliant writer who also happens to be a kick-ass mother in the real world. Role model like whoa.

the-wordbutler. because lawyers. and Avengers. REAL SUPERHEROES COMBINED WITH IMAGINARY ONES. (Don’t ever talk shit about lawyers in general to me. I will come at you with the force of a thousand angry wasps. Lawyers are the bomb diggity.) 

But of course I also love Nate (whose URL has changed, SIGH, WHERE ARE YOU, MY HUSBAND) and Jane and Mona and Abby and Cana and Veronica and all the people who reply to my posts/like my posts and all the people I know in real life who I follow on here. AND EVERYONE. I LOVE EVERYONE. Choosing is cruel, probably, but it was asked of me, and it has been done.

I'm thankful for a lot of things. Right now, those things are mostly confined to tissues, paracetamol, and indoor heating, but there's a bigger picture, too. I'm thankful for being in England--in England!--for this semester. I'm thankful for all the friends I've made here. I'm thankful for my boss, who's helped me keep in contact with the kids even though there's an ocean, plus randomly piddly bits of land, between us.

And I'm thankful for Jane and Toni and Mona and Jess and Nicole and Morgan. Because what would I be doing now without Bruce or the other Avengers or my extra mom or people who listen when I'm upset or People I Must Drive To Meet or the girl I'd fly a hot air balloon for?

Kirstin, I'm so proud of you. I am. Stop worrying about what everyone else thinks about you. Okay? That's your one failing. You always worry about what they think of you. Don't be scared of those other kids. You're in England for Chrissake. Enjoy it! I'm never going to get to go. You'd better be enjoying that trip for me. Love, Ms Jess
