Almond Chocolate Coconut: a touch headcanon.

          Seldom it is for one to even come close to lay a single hand on the samurai. He keeps many people at bay by the length of his sword. One approach towards him and he would be quick to draw a blade with its tip pointing at their throats.

          He was born alone, and he will die alone. Those were the words he said (in the musical to be honest) but it holds true even in this headcanon. To allow someone to even pat his shoulder requires some number of trust or a mutual understanding of how both parties are working towards the same goal.

          Besides, who the hell would be brave enough to come near this guy?

Bacon Ice Cream: a “what were you even thinking” headcanon.

          To be painfully honest, no one knows what’s going in Kyuzo’s head and only few could speculate without him confirming their guesses right or wrong. When making a decision he picks the option that offers the swiftest solution down the long run. 

          This is why when the Water Priestess said that it doesn’t matter which path would get them to the village faster, he went ahead and picked which way to go for them silently and started to walk in said path. This of course annoyed the hell out of Kirara. Prior to that when he had learned about a Nobuseri scouting close to the area, he wanted to fight it first while the two people of his party agreed that it would be best to avoid combat as best as possible.

          Where I’m going with this headcanon is the fact that many people do not like how he is the one that makes the decisions without some sort of group conscientious even if his motives seem clear or not. Kyuzo does not bother with words, because to him it doedsn’t matter what they do as long as their goal is accomplished. Especially when his actions and decisions all seem like common sense. He should have no reason to explain if it was logically sound.

✉ - texting habits

          You know for a futuristic world where mechas, laser guns, and holographic screens exist, I have not once seen a cellphone in the anime. Hell, they basically had their equivalent of the “Pony Express” (which is ironically named the Turtle Express. let me tell you that it’s a very fast bipedal turtle tho). If Kyuzo would ever find himself in a legal ownership of a phone I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t use it a lot. He has more of a preference to calling someone up rather than texting them, and when he does have to text his messages are very short.

☯ - calming methods

          Leaving the area to get some alone time actually. Leaving Kyuzo to his privacy is the best way to get him to calm down if there was any situation to get him heated up. While anger might be one of the better emotions this man can express, getting him riled up much easier said than done.

✪ - favorite food/eating habits

          Kyuzo is not a picky man when it comes to food. Working under a wealthy merchant did allow him a chance to eat more of the ‘finer’ dishes offered but that hardly did anything to change his pallet. He is a man conscious of his strength as well as health, so he doesn’t spoil himself with food high in sugar or fats. This also means that he won’t be eating extra meals or a large amount of snacks throughout the day.

          His words were few but carried all of the obvious weight that he did not want to be disturbed. He was not interested in what this stranger had to gossip about, and there was no guarantee that such offered information was valid in the first place. It would be a waste of his time and money. Kyuzo did not have the luxury of working under a wealthy man this time.
