I never really appreciated Tolworth Tower as I grew up and went to school in its shadow, nor as I worked there in my temping days, but the subconscious influence of these already period pieces in my childhood is a big part of who I am now. Delighted to find this late Sixties footage of an unspoilt tower, as #richardseifert intended, complete with original abstract mural and open piazza area. Of course they are currently in the process of ruining the integrity of the architecture even further, with cladding and even some more new towers.
