‘ i know a good place. ’ ( @boltns )
“ … wait, like a – date? ”
she feels stupid for saying it about five seconds after it leaves her lips ( of course it’s not a date, she’s not here to date, either ways ). still, as much as she would want to backtrack but can’t, Bloom still offers Troy a smile as she tugs the strap of her backpack higher up her shoulder – it feels weird to be back in the human world, doing human things, the human way. While her mind is still set in finding what the Trix are scheming by arriving to this realm, Bloom finds herself experiencing a tinge of bittersweet nostalgia – on one side, this was her life not too long ago. On the other, by now, she has not a clear clue of where her true roots lie, or if she can ever have any at all. Domino is a vast demolished land, nothing much of it remains ( it doesn’t feel like a home at all, so Bloom still chooses to cling to this realm instead ).
“ I mean – obviously it’s not ! I – I totally don’t think it is – ” she’s quick to add, taking a step backwards until she almost collides with the bleachers behind her. But Troy doesn’t make fun of her for her clumsiness, and that encourages to say, “ I’d still love to hang out with you ! I don’t know any of the cool places in this town, so I could use a guide,” she could really use some Stella’s confidence right now, or Flora’s naturally lovely smile, “ i’m free right now, if you wanna go … ”
