2023 was a great year of Skam for me, visiting Scandinavia, meeting up with Skam friends and modding the bang! Skam continues to be the gift that keeps on giving! I’m so blessed for the people I’ve met in fandom. I’m grateful for you everyday!
May your 2024 be blessed, may the Skam fandom continue to live on and thrive, and as Noora says, may we remember to always be kind to each other!
sometimes I just get really nostalgic and homesick for skam et al. Like there truly has never been anything like the experience of going through a live season for me. I mean:
the way we looked forward to clips with a burning NEED
the FEELING when a clip dropped
the memes
the amazing gifs and edits and fanfic
the camaraderie
how good it felt when the characters finally communicated after weeks of being dumbasses
the music
the actors and actresses being absolutely incredible. the way we formed connections with them IMMEDIATELY
anyway I'm just very deep in my feels about it today. Something about this time of year, close to wtfock s3 anniversary. Mannnn

True story- before Skam, Norwegian was the least popular Scandinavian language on Duolingo. However, after Skam got a huge fan base, it surpassed Danish in number of learners, and very well might surpass Swedish sometime in the future
