aw, I like made up keyblades, it always helps to see what themes and visual patterns the character is associated with. Do you think Sora would get a new keychain/key blade appearance upon getting Hikari in the party ? and do you have any pre-KH (like, BbS) stuff about Hikari like a relative or tiny Hikari meeting one of the characters ?

i like made up keyblades too, but i wanted to do something different than usual. yes though, he does get a new keyblade/chain but i didn’t design it. he gets a drive for her too, where his out fit gets white and teal and there’s ribbons and shit IT’S COOL.yeah, tiny Hika meets the Wayfinder Trio, cause they end up going to Arcana by chance. IDK if any Disney characters are on Arcana TBH, BBS seemed way more Disney oriented than Square Enix ( compared to DDD that had TWEWY and KH1/CoM/2 that had a fuck ton of FF cameos)  so idk if that matters, but she does, and i think her brother does too ?? he’s the one who sends her away to the gardens, he only meets Terra though

She looks really pretty and you're really passionate about her ! does she have like, a keyblade at one point ? and does she replace Donald as a more effective and less annoying healer/mage type character ? because that's good. what is her relationship with say, riku and kairi ? and like, what does she do during Sora's and Riku's wacky dream adventures ?

1) She doesn’t get a keyblade ever, honestly. She uses a bow and arrow, because i was thinking about her in-game and how the trio uses all short range weapons so i thought long range would be a good asset. her arrows are constructed of magic, like fire, ice, etc.

2) I wouldn’t say replace, but I do think Hikari would be a better healer than Donald. Her theme I guess is strength and healing, so while she’s a great magic user, in-game you’d go to her for heals cause WE ALL FUCKING KNOW DONALD DOESN’T DO IT?? EVER?????

3) Hikariiiii… she actually gets along with them pretty well.Over the course of the game, feels happen between her and sora ( 8) my otp fuck SoKa) so she’s got this vague jealousy of Kairi, but they all get along fairly well. It’s safe to say Hikari’s a third– well fourth wheel, considering the Destiny Trio has been through so much but she’s close with Sora so they include her as best as they can.

4) She stays back on Destiny Islands with Kairi. They’re both capable girls, and TBH they probably like, train or something while they wait. After KH2, (because Hikari isn’t in KH1/CoM) her world gets reformed  but she ends up staying with Sora on Destiny Islands.

So what are the characters' roles in that AU ? Like, it looks kinda like the Kouta/Kaito rivalry is replaced by a Jounouchi/Zack one, but it's a bit too rigid to simply change roles like that so. I'm asking ! Also, what about Hase in the AU ?

The set up of the AU is that the nut riders are the protagonist because of two major role changes: That Kouta was the first to arrive when him, Yuuya and Mai were meeting up in episode 1, so him falling victim to the forest first and leaving Yuuya to become Gaim. Later when the Christmas Game enters, or similar circumstances, Kaito’s belt is broken rather that Hase’s, and goes the accidental invess route for power. Honestly, we know Kaito would do the same thing. We saw this. 

The Jounouchi and Zack thing isn’t so much a rivalry, since like you said that’s pretty rigid to try and place characters into the exact same roles when their personalities and relationships differ. Jounouchi and Zack are the forerunners for the fruit, yes. Micchy too, he’s still there in more or less the same role, except he’s not Ryugen. (or at least when I do things for the AU he’s not, Mai is. But like, open AU, I’m not shoving this into anyone’s perception with others who do/may do fanwork.) 

I forget how I said Zack got his driver in this. There’s plenty of options there though. 

Jounouchi is a kinda anxious and overly-dependent guy who doesn’t know what he wants, despite that confident tactician stuff, so when pressure goes on him, upgrades flying around, serious information becoming known, you can imagine he’d be jumping around a lot. From Hase to Oren, who would probably try to make him take more responsibility, to teaming with Zack and bringing in that mixed nuts relationship we got late in the series. 

Hase struggling to become more independent at times and living up to his strong ideals but realizing that’s not really good enough even if he could manage that, so imagine how it would be after Jounouchi split if the broken driver wasn’t part of the equation. This is part of that, but always realizes he prefers working with him.

!~TEAM~CHARMANT~HAPPENS~! sometimes. The pose was Hase’s idea. He’s a busboy. Sometime’s Oren puts him in time out. Boy’s are troublesome at that age.

Zack as Baron leader takes it upon himself to clean up most of the invess trouble, but for a while gets the other nuts involved as a squad to work together!! Nuts stick together!! He’s also the only one to realize something’s up with Mitsuzane and gets involved with that mess when it’s going to ideally keep his friends safe. (Also to make sure Micchy doesn’t do anything TOO self destructive, haha like he’d be able to prevent that. He’s there for him though.)

There’s a lot of details and kinks to work out as far as actual story details and transitions.

In the Helheim invasion, Zack is becoming more and more stressed trying to take on too much responsibility between watching Mitsuzane’s crippling mental state and doing things for the others, and takes on Micchy’s ideology of doing whatever it takes from you to insure your friend’s safety OBVIOUSLY BROADER THAN JUST ONE PERSON. And think ‘Kaito was strong what would he do’ annndd well, Lord Knuckle happens. 

As wonderful as Zack is, becoming a monster via toxin/mutation in that sort of mindset... yeah

HASE IS CHOSEN TO GIVE THE FRUIT and dies of course oops. We get Hase of the beginning. Someone gave a good title for him other than gender like canon, but I can’t for the life of my remember what it was. It was probably in a tag. Zack’s pretty ready to rip the fruit right out of Hase if he doesn’t give it up.

Jounouchi finds the resolve to fight his friend/give up his future, since he may not know what he wants from life but he knows he’s the only one who can ensure the future of the others at this point. 

Jounouchi is given the fruit, gets a cape, him and his boyfriend become monster parents, all that good stuff. The “Nutlord” part. 

Peco gets to become Kurokage Shin at some point and him and Hase have a kinship between pinecones and self-esteem issues, I just never decided where to put this in yet. 

This is why I don’t write fanfics because I can’t plan for shit

What i'd like to see is for the Getter 2 and Getter 3 variations to get more figures, because except for Shin's, Dragon's and the original's, I dont think i've seen a full set of Getters.

I would like to see more 2s and 3s that aren’t super expensive. It’d be nice to see some SRC Getter 2s and 3s. It’d be nice to see some Arc figures that aren’t Revoltechs too. It would be nice to see reasonably priced Getters that aren’t Revoltechs because, let’s face it, Revoltechs aren’t that great. I would be okay with more Shin, Dragon and originals if they didn’t cost you and arm and a leg to buy. I have some higher priced figures, but not everyone can afford the more expensive ones (looking at you there Fewture) and I know I can’t. It would just be nice to have some variety, but the toys companies know that Getter 1s sell, so that’s what they keep churning out. There just needs to be more love for 2 and 3. I was glad to be able to get Getter 1, 2, and 3 Dino Getters though.
