Jeff Rosenstock is the man for releasing a pay-what-you-want 7″, but it’s a shame they are being scalped for $40+ a week later. I feel like thats not what he was trying to accomplish with the whole thing

Jeff Rosenstock is nothing if not ubiquitous.  But he is a fountain of integrity.  He founded his own label based on the “pay what you want” credo, and kept releasing.  His Bandcamp headline mentions that he is a “professional recording artist and person”.

While he’s released a lot of music, only some of it is available in physical form.  This split 7″ with SKASUCKS is one of them. “NEVERGONNAGETITBACKAGAIN!!!“ is the first song on this 7″ and is one of my favorite songs this summer.  It recalls early Joe Jackson, Superchunk and Ted Leo & The Pharmacists.  Listening to this made me pull out my Gentleman Jesse LPs as well.  At it’s best, Rosenstock’s music makes you want to raise your voice and sing-a-long.

Side One Dummy has released his excellent album “Worry” on vinyl, although it’s already in its 2nd pressing.
