There are times that dante would just go mute. And obviously that would make nero and (surprisingly) vergil concerned.

But for lady and trish this isnt new for them....they seen dante like this. Dante would be mute for like a few hours (yeah thats not super concerning), but if dante goes mute for a few days...possibly weeks thats when the others get concerned...

Cause for 1 nero and vergil have never seen him like this...like EVER

And 2 lady and trish would have no idea whats going on in his head that would cause him to go mute. And yeah they try to talk to him and see whats going on but of course dante doesnt say anything or try to play it off (while being mute)

But at night....when everyone is at home in bed. Hes just alone....so utterly alone and it fucking kills him. normally he would go to vergil but vergil is staying at neros place in fortuna.

So...he just brings out his xbox he found (from dumpster diving) and he goes to his room and plugs it up. Then he would put on his headphones nero got him and he would just play skate 3 or skate 4 for hours (cause it was the only game he could afford and the other skate game is free)

....but by god he loves that game, so much. Cause it always some how...made him feel better like the music in the game is great (or when he doesnt want to listen to music from in game he made his own playlist on his phone) and he could just get lost in the game and genuinely have fun....

Like this sense of calm washes over him...honestly he almost forgot how good it felt. Just going mute and playing skate late in the night while listening to music.

It almost feels like hes young again when he first found the xbox and then got skate on a discount at a game store...he almost enjoys these times alone, he can just be himself...no expectations, no demons, no stress and definitely no cleaning up his brothers mess.

Just him in his room playing skate and listening to music....
