A master spread layout for my skatezine “Photozine” Issue 2 in 1984. Page spread layouts were paginated not as the article, but how the pages flowed when the Xeroxed pages were folded and stapled together, never mind. There was a time before computers, digital cameras and Instagram when humans moved around dragging X-acto knives, rulers and T-squares and creating these crude handmade Xeroxed things called Skate Zines. This is the master copy of front and back covers of the one I did called Air Photozine back in 1984 or so. I finished 2 and a half issues and made enough to distribute to 50 or so friends. With analog publishing on the decline, I encourage young people to get their photos printed on paper, break out the scissors and glue and start self publishing.
