Today is the first day back home from Bendigo and this is the first knitting I've done since Monday. I have been so sick with the flu I couldn't do anything but sleep. SO happy to finally feel better! This project was cast on more for the joy of knitting with something bright than for the finished object. I've been working on it here and there over the last few months and I only had a few rows left to do on the border which I finished today. All it needs now is a good block and it's ready to wear. I didn't use a pattern, just cast on and knit a simple triangular shawl and finished it with a faux Fishermans Rib border. The yarn I used is our Voyage DK in the Sunset colourway. I actually prefer the way the shawl looks on the wrong side with the purl bumps showing, so that's how I'm going to wear it. Happy weekend everyone 💖 #skeinyarn #knitting #imakemyownclothes #knittersofinstagram #knitstagram #skeinvoyagedk #skeinyarnaustralia #knittinglove #knittingaddict #knittersgonnaknit https://www.instagram.com/p/B0X2usSH_MY/?igshid=ofqb1w9grhd
