Ekt must be too brooding and needing a child. Really wishing she/he gets to have SkekLo anytime soon !

Fact, Skeksis are only on two days in a year fertile. The day of the annual “devision” and the day after that. Other times they are not really able to produce children. 

Nobody knows that of course. Skeksa told Ekt as much, that she had no idea, also she has no idea who laid the egg. The Ornimantalist in return searched for Skektek. He was working on this mystery named Skektif and told Skekekt that the chance was high in the month of the annual timeperiod.
