I'm just gonna ramble about Babylon in class cause I just wanna take my mind off school and how terrible it is right now.

after about 5 listens to the album, i'm somewhat underwhelmed

i LOVE voices and all fall down and they still blow me away, so i was gonna expect everything to be on par or better than those 2 songs, but those songs are by far the best on the album.

i don't like how haven't you translated from demos. it worked really well acoustic, but not electric. i almost teared up when he played it solo. but this new version with the weird synthy stuff takes away the emotion of it, i think. and it's about his grandma too, so the emotion is really important.

the end of joy is kinda cheesy, maybe my least favorite so far.

I was also underwhelmed with how the hell did we get here. i pretty much heard this song from the beginning. and i don't like how it's evolved. there was a really awesome creepy piano intro wayyy back in like 2009 that gave the song this awesome vibe, but he took it out. :(

i like falling like rain probably third best. it reminds me of dead on the floor, so that's probably why. and it's simple. i like when skiba is simple. shrug.

i like how cruel and unusual/olivia and angel o deaf turned out. but that's probably because they stayed pretty similar to the demos versions

you is a sweet song. it's sweet that he wrote it for rosie, but for him to call it his first love song. i dunno. nose over tail is the epitome of a skiba love song to me.

i'd probably give the album overall a 6/10. i had a lot of negative things to say, but i still like it a lot and skiba stuff always makes me happy

also i'm in a really shitty mood, so that might also be why. eh.
