Heard you're a fine arts student. Care to rant about one of your favorite classes, topics, maybe a project you did or are doing that you're excited about? I just like learning about people's passions and think everyone should be able to word vomit about them.
stoooop i literally love that you asked this, honestly made my entire day :,)) honestly because im in my first year the classes i have are pretty generic so theres nothing too interesting. buttt the coolest thing is seeing your progress, you´re always improving and learning new things. you see your classmates around you and you learn from them and get inspired, and when you look back and see how much you´ve improved and how far you´ve come it just makes you feel pride for all the hard work you put.
my favorite class rn is probably drawing. we dont do anything too interesting, its just a room full of greek sculptures and we have to draw them with coal (though we switched to pastels recently and its so freaking cool). drawing is what im best at so its like my comfort class, yk, like i get there and im drawing and im just chilling you know, plus i love my teacher he´s the best. recently i´ve been enjoying painting too!! at first i was hella bitter about it cause i´ve never really practiced painting with acrylics or anything so my level was kind of low, but now that our teacher has given us liberty to choose what we want to paint, and ive seen my progress, i´ve starting to enjoy it a lot more and ive been very inspired recently. im currently painting new york with the statue of liberty and its harddd but i love it, i´ve discovered that i love painting/drawing landscapes or cities.
my school year ends in like a month or so and im fullll with final projects and its hella stressful but at the same time i love that it has my creativity constantly running cause im always thinking up new ideas, like this other project im gonna do thats like a magazine but with drawings of the female body cause i love anatomy and especially the female body so im looking forward to starting that.
anyways thats about it, i have more projects i need to start cause this shit is endless but we´re vibing! :D thank you for letting me rant about this, its so cool talking to people about different topics thats not just the stuff i write on this blog <3
