Keystone, CO.
As the alarm started going off at 5:30 in the morning MJ and I woke up with so much excitement that we were going skiing, we haven’t skied in about 10+ years. We got up, got dressed, and all piled up in the car driving two hours from Arvada. We were heading to Keystone, a little ski town in Colorado. We went skiing on a Sunday, and the place was packed! As we pulled in, the whole parking lot was suiting up into their ski and snowboard gear. We ended up going on a day where it was the BEST snow of the season and we got to ski in fresh snow the whole day! MJ did 6 runs, I ended up only doing 3 because my legs and feet were killing. We ended up spending $250.00 for both of us to go skiing that day for a single-day pass. A single day pass there without a buddy discount was $150.00. While staying in Colorado, we stayed with some friends that live in Arvada. Zach, Sarah & Summit were completely and absolutely so sweet to us. They let us stay with them for about two weeks and we got to do some amazing stuff with them. They have introduced us to some AMAZING people, and I’ve met some people MJ already knew from back home. BIG SHOUT OUT TO SEAN GOODY! Thank you for the hook up with the ski boots and the skis, We appreciate you so much! If you guys are ever in the Arvada area, please go see Sean Goody @ Ski & Golf and tell him we recommended you!
