Oc-tober day 14: Skilled Spear.
Skilled Spear is one of the best trackers and hunters of the tribe. She is almost guaranteed to return with something after every hunt. She doesn't really have a sense of humour. Not that Single-foot cares. She has a love-hate relationsgip with him.
Hunting is not risk-free and Skilled Spear has first-hand experience of it. Especially after losing an eye in an accident. She is resourceful, however. A small turte carapace makes a good eyepatch.
How do the Tribe members get their tattoos? Well, here we see Skilled spear getting tattoos on her arms.
Darkface made them, of course, since he is the only tribe member who can make them. Now, to the dismay of Single-foot, Skilled spear has something to show off.

The tribe is in a mood for dancing! These are some of their ritual dances.
1: White-feather is not in a ritual or happening or anything, she is simply dancing for joy, as all kids do.
2: Taleknower might be old, but she still chants a bit with her drum. The drum is used to contact spirits, which are painted on the drum. This is based on African and native American dances and drumchants.
3: Skilled Spear is trying to intimidate the onlooker with the war dance, which is used to signal strength and skill on the hunt. Based on the Haka, obviously.
4: Darkface is dancing the courting dance, which is used to affirm bonds with a loved one and is basically a poofdance. Based on courtship behavour in birds, like albatrosses.
This is Skilled Spear. She is one of the tribe members, and the best hunter among them, where she earned her name. She is very strong and brave, but this makes her very confident and not that willing to get help.
Although she is somewhat snarky, she likes her family and will defend it.
