Here's an interesting case of "do as I say not as I do" in a passage from the journalism ethics textbook my colleague and former professor is using for his class this semester: "Online news sites may not need a large copy desk like a newspaper's, but they do need skilled copy editors on duty throughout the day and night to place a critical second set of eyes on every story before it is posted."
If only news sites would prioritize skilled copy editing...
