"Clopsfish" are also known as the Asterias polyphemus. I am the first to have discovered and studied them over in our universe. I wonder if they exist in other dimensions…?
Originally, there were only two known varieties: the yellow and the red. Contact with the yellow tends to have a… soothing effect on Seibertronians. The red are best to be avoided by non-experts (that is, anyone who isn’t me~) as they can give a rather painful zap.
The recently-discovered purple clopsfish possess both powers. While the common red and yellow species function purely on instinct, the purple are clever, intelligent creatures. The one I have named Clops-chan even possesses the desire to create artwork, which is a fascinating quality and is indicative of sentience.
