5 Questions with Bishop Light ________________________ What motivates you? Just certain situations I guess, you know like something can happen and I'll be like "that would sound super to talk about" and yeah, that's that. What's the best part of what you do? Seeing the number of people that can relate honestly. I thought I was isolated or abnormal cause of the way I looked at the world and certain things in it, but its nice to see a lot of people with the same views, and they tell me how real my music is. also just the ability to be creative and letting the sounds just go. I don't know, I love music What most inspiring thing a listener of your music told you? How real it is or how heavily they can relate to it you know. I just take pride in that i don't wanna rap about sh*t I don't know about or never seen and shit like that. I just take pride in being me, like i want people to press play and be like "this guy... he is awesome. all he does is try to b himself. tybl" Does a specific state of mind or mood generate your best work? Yeah I guess. Drugs definitely make the music sound more intense and more vibrant so i like to just chill and vibe. If I write songs it'll be when I'm mad or some, you know, but other than that I just be talking sh*t. I like making beats more than rapping to be honest. What's next for yourself? I'mma do a collab ep wit Kanye that should b dropping mid September. then me and Drake might do some work. I might sign to Young Money or Brick Squad I'm weighing my options right now.
