The more hydrated your skin is, the less oil & sebum it will produce and the less breakouts you will experience. So give your skin a treat by using masks before your period to make sure that your skin gets all the hydration it needs to keep those pesky blemishes at bay! #remahnaturals #skintiptuesday https://www.instagram.com/p/CkIWNnPLxRZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

SKIN TIP TUESDAY Harsh winter weather can strip our skin of its natural protective barrier, creating gaps in the outer most layer, which allows water to escape and dehydrated skin to set in. Wind, indoor heaters and low humidity can also leave our skin feeling parched, dry and sensitive. Learn how you can experience softer, smoother and more radiant-looking skin by giving your skin a boost of hydration during the cold winter months. #skintiptuesday #loveyourskin #giveyourskinadrink #hydratedskinishappyskin #yourselfandyourhealth #teamradiant
#SkinTipTuesday DID YOU KNOW THAT ONLY 20% OF HOW YOU AGE IS GENETIC? THAT MEANS THE OTHER 80% IS IN YOUR CONTROL! From how you sleep to what you eat to your mood can affect the appearance of your skin. A few simple changes to your daily routine can help reverse the signs of aging and prevent future skin damage. Here are a few of my favorite skin tips! 1) Hours of skin crushing pressure from sleeping on your face can cause wrinkles, so if you’re a stomach or side sleeper, it’s time to give your face a rest and flip to your back. 2) If you want radiant, youthful-looking skin the old adage you are what you eat is true. Choose a diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to nourish your skin from the inside out. If you're not much of fruit and veggie eater, smoothies can be a quick and easy way up your intake of these two important food groups. 3) Stress is a big factor in aging, so make sure you take time to put everything aside, unwind and focus on YOU. With work, family and other commitments, I know it’s difficult to sneak in any time for yourself, but even 10 minutes of serenity in your bathroom with your favorite paste or mask can help you relieve stress and recharge. #SkinTipTuesday #YourselfandYourHealth #YouAreWhatYouEat #DontWorryBeHappy #LifeChangingSkincaer #TeamRadiant
SKIN TIP TUESDAY Dead skin on the surface of your skin can leave you looking dull and drab. It also makes your skincare products less effective, because the dead skin keeps the products from getting to the skin and being absorbed. Enzymatic peels or ones containing fruit acids can also remove dry and damaged skin from seasonal dryness. #Beauty101 #SkinTipTuesday #Exfoliate #LoveYourSkin #TeamRadiant
SKIN TIP TUESDAY Exfoliation is key to keeping your face fresh and radiant-looking. It removes dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, revealing the new skin below, and allows your products to work more efficiently. You would not water your lawn if it was covered in leaves would you? No, because you would waste water as it would not reach the ground to be absorbed. It’s the same when the surface of your skin is covered with dead skin cells. The dead cells block the products from entering the skin. Thus, you don’t get maximum benefits from using them. And let’s face it – most good skincare products aren’t cheap, so you don’t want waste! Depending on your skin type, I suggest exfoliating 1-3 times per week. If your skin is sensitive, start with once and increase as tolerated. #Skincare101 #Exfoliate #SmoothSkin #RemoveDeadSkin #YourselfAndYourHealth #TeamRadiant #SkinTipTuesday
