Try haveing to redo the yappfest that was the domain in ineffas introduction like 4 fucking times cause your wifi kept cutting out and the game didn't save your progress, then we'll talk.

Day 5: SKIP
nearly forgot to do this one, MY BAD GUYS, I was doomscrolling
art under cut
Catching up in Genshin Impact is so overwhelming when you're behind years of content. I made the mistake of accepting every side/world quest I'd encounter during the main story quest and now I'm trying to go through them all just so I can play through the main story quests without getting interrupted. Really wish that there was a skip button as I will admit that I'm really not at all invested or interested in the side stories as I used to be. Getting caught up will take months, why haven't they implemented this yet? Please, I have a job. I don't want to pour hours of my free time to grind through lengths of dialogue just to catch up. I can always go back and watch a playthrough of a quest if I need more context.
Baffles me that there are people that are opposed to the idea like they're forced to use this feature. People have already been skipping dialogues, it's just more tedious. There's always the option to add a summary when skipping. Can we just quit it with the elitist gatekeeping bullshit? It's an option, and there is more than one reason someone would want to use the option. If anything, I believe this will get many inactive players to return.
Besides, as someone who is returning after years of inactivity, despite not skipping anything I have not retained every bit of information from the story. I just want to be able to level my characters, get them geared and allow my niece to enter my world so we can farm mats together.
If you disagree, fortunately for you, you have the option to ignore this and move on. Almost like a mental skip button, how fucking convenient is that?
hello! im excited for your team's their life zine. im curious though, would you also open/ organize a their life zine for olnf too?
Hi Anon,
Thanks for the ask, Im super hyped for the release too ^^
As for a OLNF Zine, the short answer would have to be No >< The longer answer is that I dont have much attachment to NF since theres only like a 1-2 hour demo of it, and its difficult to say how I'd feel about it down the line.
I actually plan to skedaddle from OL after this, and quietly update my Baxter fangame on the side cuz the haha events has kinda put a damper on the show for me.
That being said, I'm always open for helping out with things, like planning, graphic design, drawing etc. Feel free to ask for anything if you'd like my help anon ^^
Paratober 2023, Day 27: Skip/Blender
I've decided that the Blender time should be time. I wasn't sure how to show it at first but this is the end result now. I'm quite happy from this one, it was a silly experiment and it's prob my second fav this whole Paratober. Stanley <333
Skip Button is such an interesting part of the game I genuinely enjoy. It shows the psychological horror part of the series so well.
My Jester Narrator in his skip button form 😳 sum old art!!
Do you ever think about how proctols are not mentioned once in the main game? (from what I remember but also I'm rn walking so this whole post might not be correct jhhh)
They're mentioned in the demo but in tsp and TSPUD, when, for example, you get the broken achievement, Narrator gets anxious. He gets worries, paranoid, that someone, anyone is there. Another time is that the Parable is not his or that someone had set up the Confusion ending. But he knew there were people in there! He mentioned them himself!
And he knows someone else had set up the New Content. Yet he doesn't call them proctols.
Which, for me, could mean a lot of things. But I want to focus on one theory - that he in fact was never an actual part of the team.
Maybe you yourself have seen such situation - coworkers mobbing a black sheep, making them do all the hard work, making then talk to the boss and then pay for their mistakes. That they will be always seen as the responsible one.
But Narrator didnt consciously delete the skip doors. He didn't break the demo. He didn't add the stairs in Zending.
He asked for help. He asked if anybody is there.
But they never responded.
Nobody does.
It's my brain on 3 hours of sleep but just thinking of that sheer horror Narrator has to go through any time you choose to go back to Skip Button in Memory Zone 2.0. He and Stanley were stuck there - you were not. You could just click through the button quickly and not make a bit deal out of it. But he has to relive his trauma. Even if these are just memories, even if they are just flashbacks - you change them. Because you will never hit the button the same way all the time.
This man relives the trauma and Stanley can only watch. Just because you need to see that one element, hear that one line yet again. What a monster you are.
Do it again.
