Skip Garden. A couple of weeks ago I had lunch at Skip Garden in King's Cross. An amazing project bringing gardening and sustainability skills to the local community. The garden moves around when the developers need the land hence why they use skips. I was so impressed with everything; the ideals, the enthusiasm, the achievements and of course the great food. I still believe architecture is about engagement with people. Architecture is bringing together a lot of people, consultants, clients, local neighbours and ideas. An architect cannot design in a vacuum with his own ideas. Architects need to have an open-mind to engage with others in order to bring out their best. This video shows an architecture school is not just about teaching cutting edge design skill to students.  It’s 1:1 construction that the client and local people need. The students learned not only about stuffs they have to know for delivering building projects for a client, but also the beautiful ability to collaborate with peoepl as an architect. Cafe Heech
