Game No. 28: South Florida Bulls at Notre Dame Fighting Irish - Saturday, September 3, 2011, 3:30 p.m.
Why you should watch: Holtz bowl! Expectations are high for Notre Dame this year as numerous polls have them as a preseason Top 25 team. South Florida is coming off a season that saw them overachieve in Skip Holtz' fist year, finishing 8-5 with a victory over Clemson their bowl game. Both teams are expecting big things this season and a win on opening day could set the tone for the rest of the year.
Questions in need of answering: Will the Irish finally return to a BCS bowl game? Can South Florida go into South Bend and steal a huge victory on par with that of theirs in Auburn in 2007 and Miami in 2010? Will they ride the victory to a Big East title?
What to eat: Anything from Legends Restaurant, located "100 Yards South of Notre Dame Stadium."
What to drink: 3 Floyds Beer's "Alpha King."
