"right, so you're just moping for no reason?" sofia had left something in her locker at training the day prior and needed to come in for it on her day off. finding xander alone on the pitch wasn't something she had expected to find while she was there. she would have felt bad leaving without checking on him though. "you don't have to tell me. i'll leave if you like, but i'm happy to listen or try and problem solve. whatever it is that you need." she waited expectantly for him to invite her to sit or dismiss her.

                he  was  just  finishing  up  with  warmups  when  he  noticed  xander  sitting  down  ,  alone  and  looking  as  if  he  had  a  lot  on  his  mind  .  pulling  off  his  goalkeeper  gloves  ,  he  made  his  way  to  where  he  sat  .   "  you  look  like  you've  got  something  going  on  .  "  the  captain  replied  ,  giving  him  a  small  grin  before  taking  a  seat  next  to  him  .  "  do  you  wanna  talk  about  what's  going  on?  it  might  help.  "

Brows furrow, looking over at the other as he works at pulling the rest of his shirt down from where they stood in the locker room. Jo had some idea where that came from though he hadn't done anything to show that would change much. Some little arguments happened, Jo was just trying to show him how he thought the pass and play should go. That was all. So, the shorter blond nods his head as he full turns towards the other. "Ja, of course." Still shifting mostly to English as he knew the other didn't have a grasp on Germany much yet. "That wasn't going to change anything, Xander. Did you think it would?"

There were several of these throughout the year, Andrei tried to make all of them when he could but some schedules didn't always line up. Thankfully this one did, it was one of the more popular ones anyway and any time he could do something to help a multitude of charities, he'd do it. Plus, it helped him meet other people who thought similarly and one of those just happened to be England's captain. His hand extended when they got introduced, a smirk tugging at his lips in the process. "Andrei Lupei, nice to meet you. Off the pitch of course."

She had called him into her office; sat neatly behind her desk as the sunshine flooded in through the window, the sounds of the other players on the pitch. She gestured towards a chair, offering a polite smile as he entered the room.

"Xander. I can call you Xander, yes?" she asked, voice just a little soft on the edges. "Do you know why I've called you to this meeting?"

"I... what?" he frowned, blinking over at Xander. The dark shadows under his eyes were doing most of the speaking for him. "Shit, people here already..?" he'd arrived at the club about 6am; they had twenty four seven access to the gym here, and he'd finished training with Roy and headed straight here. He'd cut the session early and made Jamie promise to sleep, but ... "Um, yeah. I guess." he mumbled. It was only supposed to make his brain switch off, which it had, but he hadn't managed any sleep. That was... annoyingly frequent. Usually he'd cadge a couple of hours between training and getting to Nelson Road but...
