“Pass me the sledgehammer.” For any combo of the Charmed sisters!

Thank you!!! It's short but I genuinely just needed to get some charmed sister vibes out of my head and into writing. This takes place ambiguously before Wyatt was born

"Pass the sledgehammer," Paige commands, palm open as if expecting everyone around her to simply comply. Instead, she gets Piper balking at her and taking tiny steps to put herself between the aforementioned object and Paige.

"No way. You are not knocking down that wall, missy."

Paige half pouts, half rolls her eyes. "You said you wanted help with the nursery. I am simply lending my expertise."

From behind the both of them, lounging on the window seat with a spread of baby shopping magazines, Phoebe snorts. "Since when were you a construction expert."

"Since my dad and I built a treehouse when I was eight."

"You do realize that doesn't exactly make you qualified, right?" Piper fires back, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Maybe not but I do know that I can knock down a wall as well as I can knock down a demon." Not waiting for an answer, Paige puts out her hand again. "Sledgehammer."

In a burst of swirling light the sledgehammer teleports from behind Piper into her hand which drops slightly before adjusting to the new weight.

Piper's face screws up into a deep frown. "Oh that is so personal gain."

"I'm just helping my sister and soon to be niece. Trust me on this one." She swings the sledgehammer back, winding up for what's going to be a really good destruction of plaster even as Piper cries out in protest when the same lights from earlier appear, leaving Leo in their wake. Right in front of her too.

"Woah!" Leo exclaims, throwing his hands up in defense as Paige catches herself right before the swing. "What's going on here?"

"Nursery renovation. Don't worry about it."

Leo glances from her, to Piper, to Phoebe who offers up, "Paige has gone a little sledgehammer happy."

"I have not!" Paige pauses. "Okay, maybe a little."

"Well maybe lets not renovate my child's nursery without having the handyman and carpenter around," Leo half smiles gesturing to himself. "Besides, I just came from the Elders. Seems like there's some major demonic activity brewing and they want you three to look into it."

"Guess nursery renovations can wait," Piper says, looking all too relieved.

Paige sighs and hefts the hammer onto her shoulder. "Fine but I'm bringing the sledgehammer."

shhhh pretend it’s still wednesday--takes place after double or nothing

The burns on his chest are covered in cream, cool at first though quickly heated by her practiced fingers. It stings a little, stirs up memories from a few hours ago—his wrists and ankles bound, his shirt torn open, holy water being poured across his skin, bringing with it searing pain and the smell of burning flesh. A grunt is pulled from his throat, whether from the memories or her touch he’s not sure, and it seems to cut the string that’s kept Cordelia from talking.

“You need blood,” She says, the words caring but her voice clipped as her fingers slide around a fresh bandage on one of his worse cuts. “Your wounds could be worse but they’ll heal much faster if you drink.”

His mouth waters at the thought of blood. Warm, rich, sweet on his tongue. Fresh… pure… innocent… the intoxicating taste unique to a newbo—

He jerks his head, nearly smashing his forehead against Cordelia’s. The look she gives him is equal parts surprised and worried, momentarily pushing her ire beneath the surface. “Wha—”

“No.” He cuts her off with a succinct shake of his head.

She frowns. “You need to drink, Angel.”

“No,” He says more forcefully, trying desperately to keep the surfacing memories at bay, trying to not remember how it tasted, how it felt. “I’m good.”

He knows she has reason to worry, knows that he hasn’t fed in weeks. Not since… He fights off the memories. It’s been a while since he was hungry.

Her eyes search his face and so he shuts his. “Angel…”

“Drop it, Cordelia.”

Vengeance for the wip one word ask game! :)

holy crap I totally did not think I had one for this and then I found a wip that I had completely forgotten about so thank you for both this ask and reminding me about this fic

I've titled it "the jilted exes club" and basically I started writing it after watching "hells bells" and being very upset at the fact that Xander screwed over everyone he dated and then decided I needed a fic about Cordy and Anya bonding over their respective dating histories with him

She half expects Anya to tell her what’s wrong right away but instead the ex-demon prattles on about Cordelia’s kitchen decor and the general atmosphere of L.A. as Cordelia fills the coffee maker with water. She’s really not too surprised to learn that L.A. is—or was—a hotspot for vengeance.

He thinks he might cry. He might cry and explode into dust and dance around the room and never leave her lips. So many of his dreams have been filled with this, with the gentle press of her lips, the warmth of her mouth and her touch, the feel of her in his arms, and yet nothing holds a candle to the real thing.

“Reason” for the wip word ask game

hello! and thank you!!

so this fic is inspired by the incredible cangel AU gifset that @whatisyourchildhoodtrauma made that I honestly really need to actually work on and finish

He appreciates Doyle because he needed… something to keep the deep void of guilt from swallowing him whole but frankly, he’s not sure how much these missions are helping. Sure, it’s nice to save the day and help someone—plus the added bonus of often getting to kill something, to satisfy the demon within—but he still feels the void slowly encroaching, a sense of darkness that hangs over him like a muddy, gray rainstorm. And with it, comes the question that he finds so difficult to face: if this is his so called purpose, his reason for being, then why does he feel so lifeless?

this is from a fic i have titled "it's been a month' because i started writing this like a month after I planned to (and now it's been like three months since then whoops) the premise is basically Cordelia and Buffy reconnecting with each other after both shows have ended and just catching up

also i would do anything to bring up Dawn

“She’s good. She’s almost eighteen now and thinks she knows everything and hates me a lot of the time,” Buffy says casually and Cordelia laughs.

“Sounds like me in high school.”

Buffy snorts. “You don’t know the half of it. But for the most part it’s good. You should see her, Cor, she’s been learning how to harness her key energy and she’s getting really good at it. And she’s also very smart especially when it comes to history and is a really talented writer, it’s weird to think that she’s almost an adult but I love who she’s become—and why are you looking at me like that.”

you get no context for this other than this very well might be the worst fic I've ever written :)

It hurts worse than anything she’s experienced, worse than the rebar through her gut, worse than the seven demon babies skittering inside her, worse than the onslaught of visions that didn’t stop for hours, worse than her brain deteriorating for over a year, worse than every cell of her body ripping apart and reassembling into something less than human, worse than every heartbreak physical and emotional turmoil she’s had to endure. It’s worse because her voice, her choice, her agency was stripped away. And now she must suffer the consequences.
