Skipton Castle

We met up with a friend and visited Skipton Castle together yesterday

Saw some sheep which I think are swaledale sheep, but don't quote me on that

A cat (probably) in a print reproduction of a Clifford family painting

Some armour (also in that painting print) that'd make some fantastic knitted socks. You can just see a matching 'glove' on the right

and some interesting carvings in a wooden stair support

Skipton Castle is a Grade I Listed medieval castle in Skipton, North Yorkshire, England. It was built in 1090 by Robert de Romille, a Norman baron, and has been preserved for over 931 years.
