Summary: Twenty-six years ago, the Sickness came. At the same time, babies started being born with animal characteristics. These hybrids, people believed, brought the Sick with them, and only by eliminating them altogether can humans overcome the Sick and rebuild their declining civilization.

Castiel has been in hiding with his hybrid son, Jack, for the last five years. They have a safe, secure home, far away from the humans that want to hurt Jack. But a mystery starts to unfold that threatens their isolation and well-being.

Based loosely on the plot of the comic and Netflix series Sweet Tooth, this is the story of what one man will do to keep his family safe, healthy, and together.
