The last few months have been crazy, I haven’t even done much language studying.

And when I have, it’s been half-assed Japanese studying. And occasionally Hindi. And even less Spanish.

But I still sometimes think in German. My roommate’s sister asked me to speak German and I felt like I was a fuckin’ toddler because I was putting words together slowly, right after I told them I was fuckin’ fluent in high German lolllll.

I need to practice that.

everyone has done that thing where you get pissed off at all the zubats you keep running into so you think if you kill a few of them in a row you'll cull the populations and run into them less. but there is no end to the zubat legion. for every 1 you kill another 50 are waiting in the darkest depths of the cave. watching. ready to pounce on you after every step you take. you cannot stop them. you cannot win. you can only cover yourself in repel, hide, and pray that they do not find you
