“Y’all. I’m gonna be real with you. You know how we give the whole spiel on how carefully the mine is operated and we take the utmost care to be environmentally friendly? Yeah. That’s bullshit.”
“That’s just somethin’ my boss told me to say since at the end of the day I don’t have much power in the company and I’m nothin’ more than another cog in the soulless labor machine. The truth is there’s no such thing as clean coal. If I called myself an environmentalist I’d be a huge hypocrite, but as a hunter and fisher I still consider myself a conservationist. I think it’s important we preserve plants and animals the best we can.”
