ok, but imagine giorno did not manage to heal fugos 'melted' mouth and throat completely, and got him facial prothesis instead so he lost his ability to eat and speak completely and now fugo is pure reflection of his stand, wheezing and terrifying

My gut reaction says that boy has been through enough already :’OBut that is… interesting, and sad. Fugo was pretty much prepared to accept any outcome when he ate poison— it could have been worse than it was. And an outcome in which he lost speech because of it would be so hard on him, because he already keeps a lot bottled up, but he’s smart and he’s adaptable, and by the end of PHF he has the empathy and support of Gio and Sheila, so I think he’d slowly find ways to make it better. On a side note, while it’s (I think) canon that GE can heal completely, there’s no telling if that sort of healing would leave scars or not, so I kind of toy with the HC of Fugo having faint facial scars from the poison, and a pretty noticeable scar in his side from the stabbing.

The gap between corvo and daud is not big, like, corvo is 39 and daud is 42 so what if in the whaler!corvo au he is something like billy and/or Thomas to daud (though Thomas is still there) and someday he maybe could replace daud (who secretly has a huuge crush on someone), but man, he cant be even sure whether he outlasts daud, so one day corvo just fights him and in combat they both see that their powers are equal (it occurs that corvo has his own mark and set of powers too)

so in the end if the chaos is low they just become assassin-husbands commanding their own gang of whalers

Hi. What about an au

Where everyone is happy, plague is almost defeated and shit. But one day (night) corvoo sees an outsider again, who tells him about billions of timelines he saw, where at some point corvo is unable to protect the empress and emily dies because of him. Corvo is terrified, and doesn’t take him seriously at first, but a god probably could be able to see not only the one layer of reality, though not every timeline ends up like this, and there is a way to prevent such an outcome.

Then suddenly, a wild daud appears(!)Outsider gives them instructions. The point is that corvo should find daud somewhere on serkonos, and make him the new lord protector. Corvo is pissed, but the god warns them, that this is the only possible way to save Emily, so he has to deal with his shit somehow.

Long story short, daud is finally on a ship to gristol, and corvo still doesn’t feel good about the whole shit, trying to figure out how the outsiders plan can ever work out, until his eyes suddenly start to bleed.

When they finally arrive home (Emily is aware of the deal) corvo finally gets the fucKING JOKE THE OUTSIDER PLAYED ON THEM JUST BECAUSE HE WAS TOO BORED AFTER THE WHOLE MESS WITH JESSAMINES DEATH ENDED. AND THE FUNNIEST PART OF IS THAT CORVO BECOMES THE LAST VICTIM OF RAT PLAGUE ON THE ISLES.

So there is two outcomes: either corvo starts to wear his mask again until everything settles down so that Emily cant see him, but she tries to help him, even though no remedy has any effect, and finally corvo just walks away, and after 3 or 5 days they find his body somewhere in flooded district because of start of repairing works there.

Or corvo asks daud to end his suffering, and before daud thusts his blade through the former lord protectors chest theres a long and hard talk between them, corvo tells daud that after all those years he finally forgave the man who killed his empress and that he must now become a new lord protector (welcome to the feels pit).

Anyway piero creates the new mask for daud, in which he will follow Emily outside the Tower, bc there would be too much questions about the empress’ choise. For the same reason corvos burial never goes on the streets, though the whole ceremony was almost just as solemn as Jessamines. After all of this Emily one day even witnesses daud weeping silently before the graves of corvo and jessamine while he thinks no one is watching him. Сорри ту бозер ю, стачо. Bye.
